David Hofrichter Case Study

This was a 12.9-kilowatt system comprised of a thirty 430-watt Q cell solar panels. We completed this system in the spring of 2022 for Debra and Dick Hoffrichter on a peninsula near Lunenburg. We began the install process with Pion flashing and bolt anchors directly into the structure via the roof trusses. From there our trusted Red Seal certified electricians installed all the necessary wiring and components including our signature 10-kilowatt Solis inverter. This particular system came with the challenge of the home having a Generac automatic generator previously installed prior to us arriving on site. With our experience we were able to inform the clients of the potential harmful issues to their solar system/generator if they were to be run simultaneously. We provided them with a solution to keep the solar and generation systems automated while removing their capability to run in tandem thus providing a solution and protecting their investments. Lastly, we installed 30 of our German engineered Q Cell solar panels with Pion clamps able to withstand 250 mile per hour wind gusts, finalized with a PVC coated steel mesh around the perimeter of the solar array to prevent pests from accessing the wiring or building nests.
