This was a 11.6-kilowatt system comprised of a twenty-seven 430-watt Q cell solar panels. We completed this system in the winter of 2022 for David and Krista Babin right in the heart of Halifax. We began the install process with Pion flashing and bolt anchors directly into the structure via the roof trusses. From there our trusted Red Seal certified electricians installed all the necessary wiring and components including our signature 10-kilowatt Solis inverter. This particular system included the install of an upgraded electrical panel as the original was unfit by code to accept the size of the system, we designed to offset David and Krista’s power bill. Our Red Seal electricians completed the wiring with optimizers to resolve potential shading issues caused by the clients chimney thus maximizing solar production and providing panel level monitoring. Lastly, we installed 27 of our German engineered Q Cell solar panels with Pion clamps. Again, we finalized with a PVC coated steel mesh around the perimeter of the solar array to prevent pests from accessing the wiring or building nests.
